There are a lot of opportunities to learn about cultural management – you can study it in some countries (bachelor studies and/or master studies), sometimes also under another name such as Cultural sciences, event management studies). There are websites where you can search for universities offering such studies, as well as different short courses in the field.
Two examples from Germany:
www.kulturmanagement.net (also useful if you are looking for a job in this field)
https://www.studieren-studium.com/studium/Event__und_Kulturmanagement
Examples of organisations offering management training courses:
- European Network on cultural management and policies: https://www.encatc.org/
- European Festival association with the “Festival Academy”: http://www.thefestivalacademy.eu
- European Choral Association – Europa Cantat offering the Young Event Management Programme – YEMP every three years: www.EuropeanChoralAssociation.org (also see guidelines on how to organise a YEMP -> here and video presenting YEMP -> here)
Here is one example of an online course (MOOC) on intercultural communication offered by Shanghai University and recommended to the European Choral Association – europa Cantat by one of its members: https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/intercultural-communication
These are just some examples – you can find much more if you search the Internet.
